Blood Bowl Friendly Undead vs Orcs

Today I played a friendly game of Blood Bowl. I brought the Orc team from the box against my friends Undead team.
Since getting Blood Bowl a group of friends has took an interest and purchased teams. So we are setting up a friends league soon.
I wanted to give the Orcs a run out as I am entering the Orcs and Humans into the league. The Orcs won the toss and elected to kick the ball to start the game.

The Starting Formations

The Undead collected the ball and heading down the wing.

Aggressive defence 

The Orcs rushed to screen the shambling Undead. The Undead shifted sides of the pitch and formed a cage around the ghoul ball carrier.

The Orcs always up for a scrap attacked the cage. The Undead giving as good as they got. One Orc was sent to the casualty bin early on.

A brutal brawl erupts 

There were plenty of blocks flying in from all sides. The Orcs managed to land a hit on the ball carrier knocking him down. There then proceeded a hilarious game of no one catch the ball and it bounced off various players before coming to a rest.

The ball bounced of at least 5 players I think 

The Undead grabbed the ball but half time was called

A couple of players recovered from their KOs, the Orcs bought in their second thrower to replace the injured line Orc. Receiving the kick for the second half the Orcs went on the attack. The Undead read the play and piled in tackles taking the ball carrier out.

More Orcs piled in and managed to get the ball back. On the other wing an Orc blitzer had made a break for the end zone. The Orc thrower came up with a crazy but brilliant plan. He threw the ball!

"Boyz look at 'im finkin 'e is an elf init" 

The blitzer also managed to grasp the idea and plucked the ball out of the sky. He then sprinted towards the end zone.

Touchdown!!!

The teams set up again with only a few turns left. The Undead went full on. They smashed through one wing and the mummies helped tie up a lot of Orc players on the other wing.

The Orcs scrambled to stop the shambling horde.

The Undead landed a few blocks and a Ghoul dodged away from the defence.

Touchdown!!!!! 

The last few turns ended in a rather cheeky Wight shoving my Black Orc I to the crowd!!! Thankfully he was just stunned and made his way back to the dugout.  

And off he goes!! 

The Orcs created 2 holes in the Undead line. A blitzer ran as fast as he could towards the end zone. The Orc thrower holding the ball burst into the Undead half and went for a pass. 

And with that the game ended in a draw. Great fun, I really love blood bowl!
