TCW Quarter Finals. Hamish vs The Streak

 

"We are back! The wheat has been sorted from the chaff and here we are at the quarter finals. Should be 4 matches but we have an odd number of contestants so randomly picked Gun gets a buy y through to the semi finals. The lucky bugger. Our first match is Hamish the halfling brawler vs The Streak a  human Brawler.  I've heard Streak has been walking around pretty confident that he will get through while Hamish has mostly been drinking ha ha ha ha. Anyway you don't wanna listen to me! You wanna see some violence!!!! "

" Well there wrestlers are in the rings. The people are in the stands sooo Let's Rock!!!! "

Here we go! 

Hamish acts first climbing the turnbuckle and tries to pump up the crowd 

He fails miserably! 

The crowd want action not standing around so boo Hamish. The Streak smiles and moves forward to attack

As the Streak closes in Hamish unleashes the Half - Ling! From the turnbuckle, he flies across ring and lands on the streak.

 

High flying Halfling! 

Hamish causes 2 damage and shoves the Streak back. The halfling then scampers away.  The Streak follows after Hamish, and climbs the turnbuckle himself. 

The Streak prepares his Skull Cracking Elbow 

He launches the elbow! The crowd roar in approval! 

Oh my Hamish has been obliterated! 

The elbow does 4 damage plus beat down bonus of +1 damage. KO'ing Hamish

Well this will be short and sweet!! 

The crowd roars that it can't be over yet!! Hamish stirs and climbs to his feet. He bounces off the ropes and tries to hit a flying head butt 

"We want more! We want more!!" 

The flying headbutt is blocked. The Streak tries to punch Hamish but misses, a second punch is blocked, he tries to grab the halfling to lift him up and fails. He swings another punch the crowd are taken away with the moment and ignore the classless use of the same love over and over. 

The Streak beats up Hamish 

And he's down again! 

The crowds roar gets Hamish up again!!! Unbelievable testicular fortitude from the halfling. He groggily bounces off the ropes and goes for a flying head butt! 

The crowd are loving this!!! 

That's a Fling and a half! 

Hamish hits for 2 damag and a beat down bonus of +1 damage. The Streak recovers and bounces off the ropes. He goes for a clothesline but Hamish ducks underneath and runs to the ropes bounces off and launches a flying headbutt! 

The Streak tries to finish off Hamish

But Hamish ducks and starts his own attack! 

Oooo right in the back!!! 

Hamish head connects with the Streaks spine and he is thrown to the floor KO'd!! The crowd boo the Streak as he lies there

Hamish scampers across and goes for a pin attempt 

The Streak is still in this! 

The Streak kicks out 3 times but won't get up to his feet! Hamish wipes his face and goes for a fourth pin attempt! 

It's over!!!! 

"Crazy match, what a match can you believe it!!! Hamish is through to the semi finals!! 

What a great match Hamish was on one health for most of the match but really  stepped up and fought back with such ferocity. 

TCW Fight Night!! Waaarrior vs Gun

 

"Here we are ladies, gentleman and creatures of all size, the last match of the first round! A step closer to finding the first ever TCW champion! 2 seasoned veterans are up next. Let's see what they can do. Welcome to the ring Waaaarrior and Gun!!!" 

" They are in the ring, they look ready so Let's Rock!!! "

The 2 veterans size each other up first! 

Waaaarrior grabs Gun in a head lock. He then punches Gun so hard (Beat down bonus!) he flys back into the ropes 

Big opening punch from Waaaarrior! 

Gun bounces off back into the waiting Waaaarrior who lands another punch! Altogether 2 damage. Gun responds by attempting an Atomic Drop but can't get it to work so he fires off a quick punch causing 1 damage.

Keeping the initiative Gun bounces off the ropes and hits a running leg drop! 2 damage plus a punch sends Waaaarrior dazed knocking him off his feet (beat down bonus of 2 damage and dazed. Then rolled a - 1ap and mp plus knockdown on dazed chart). 

Gun is on the attack 

A huge punch! 

Timber! 

Warrior recovers, still a bit groggy but manages to dodge around Gun bounce of the ropes and throw an attack at Gun causing 1 damage 

These veterans are putting on a show! 

Gun starts to stamp his feet looks like he is getting quite angry! (In game terms he has an ability called hulk up. When down to 4 health or less he gets +4 to his attack!!) 

Waaaarrior keeps up the pressure by climbing up the turnbuckle. He goes for the Tooth drop! 

This looks dangerous! 

That crack was heard in the cheap seats at the back!! 

Warrior is furious and swings another punch but its blocked.  Gun goes for another Atomic Drop but again can't get the hold on. He roars in anger and punches Waaarrior with a huge right hook 

Followed by a uppercut which knocks out Waaaarrior!!  Gun looks like he is thinking about the Pin but looks around at the crowd, he knows how to play to the crowd. He picks up the Waaaarrior like he was a pillow! 

With surprising ease Gun throws Waaaarrior out of the ring for the win!!! 

"Simply unbelievable!!!!! What a match and what a finish. They always said you won't like Gun when he's angry! Now I see why!. That's it for tonight folks keep your eyes out for the next round on the road to the TCW championship! “

That's the first round done. I hope you liked the reports and particularly the style of pictures. I mainly like it as it covers my terrible painting.  I shall now randomly select the next round of matches and soon start playing those matches. 

TCW Fight Night! The Streak vs Phage

 

"Wow! I thought the Savage Man almost had the Green Machine but it wasn't to be!!! We are almost done with the opening matches of this competition. Next up is the Streak! He is a  human Brawler and he will be fighting the seductive the down right evil Phage! Here they come so Let's Rock!!! "

Never underestimate Phage! 

Will the Streak continue? 

The wrestlers are ready so ring that bell! 

Phage circles the Streak like a predator stalking it's prey. The Streak brimming with confidence moves forward

The Streak sees an evil glint in the eyes of Phage and he starts to be a bit more cautious. Phage suddenly bounces into the ropes and leaps forward to strike!

Phage is going for the Black Widow! 

Phages Black Widow move is blocked by the Streak but Phage recovers and throws a massive punch into the Streaks gut sending the Streak to the matt (game terms Phage beat the Streaks defence score by 7 so got a  +2 damage and a knock down as a beat down bonus).

We all felt that punch!!! 

Phage stares down at the Streak who is clutching his stomach in agony. She looks up and smiles with a malevolent look in her eye.

The crowd boo Phage but that only seems to spurn her on! She nails thr Streak with a short hard kick to the kidneys!

The crowd are not happy with Phage!!!! 

Thanks to Phages crowd pleaser (she's a heel to technically crowd displeaser bi suppose) she gets a bonus on the kid bey shot move and causes 4 damage! The Streak eyes roll back into his head and he is out for the count! 

As Phage sta ds over the Streak the crowd yell and plead for him to wake up!

The crowd roar as the Streak starts to move 

The deafening sound of the crowd stir the Streak and he gets to his feet. He runs dodges past Phage hits the ropes and lands a clothesline onto Phage for 2 damage. 

Never give up! 

Phage responds by climbing up the turnbuckle and going for a Stunning Senton! 

The Streak dodges the Stunning Senton and decides to give Phage a taste of her  own medicine  and scrambles up the turn buckle. He launches a Skull Cracking Elbow Drop!!! 

Devastating!! 

The elbow catches Phage perfectly (Beat down bonus again)  causing 6 damage knocking Phage out!!! 

Phage lies on the matt but the crowd don't cheer her she might regret that cheap kidney shot (though I doubt she would really regret it) the crowd don't t particularly like her  

The Streak goes for the Pin! 

"it's all over folks! The Streak wins even through Phages cheating! I'm not sure this will be over in Phages mind though she don't half hold a grudge!"

Also must mention and thank my good friend Matt who painted Phage for me when I was having a massive painting slump. Check out his blog here it's fairly new but you will see the Super STAR destroyer from Star Wars Armada which is truly epic
