RCBBL Round 5 Orcs vs Dark Elves

The final round kicked off. It's close between the top two teams. The Death Spectres (Dark Elves) are sitting at the top of the league with the Bearwood Brawlerz behind in second. A win for the Spectres will mean they are champions! This week they face the Orcs

The Sporkers kicked off and the Spectres received the ball. The Spectres players formed a cage and headed down field. The Sporkers stopped the cage but a Witch Elf smashed her way free and using the gap the witch elf a blitzer and ball carrier headed off down field! The Sporkers this game had hired a wizard and he chose this moment to turn the ball carrier into a frog!!! Luckily for the Spectres the blitzer recovered the ball and ran it in for the touchdown!

Corpse Sporkers 0 - 1 Death Spectres

The ball was kicked off again. The Sporkers recover the ball and formed a cage and pushed forward hard. Both of the Spectres Witch Elves were shoved off the pitch into the hands of the crowd both managed to make it back to the dug outs. The Sporkers continued their drive and scored!

Corpse Sporkers 1 - 1 Death Spectres

The Spectres were struggling with numbers as the Sporkers kept pressing.
During the rest of the game, the Sporkers pushed and eventually scored leaving a trail of Dark Elves either down or KO'd.

Corpse Sporkers 2 - 1 Death Spectres

The game ended with a win for the Corpse Sporkers, leaving the Spectres fans wanting the Elven Union team the Outriders to defeat the Bearwood Brawlerz to win the league.

This is just a short report to get you guys the result. The Sporkers took the win 3 - 0.quite a few spp was dished out it seems and a Kickers player will miss the next game.

2 of the Sporkers levelled up. The thrower gaining block and a blitzer getting frenzy. Onto the final round of the league!! 

Operation Last Train Home Zombie WW2. Drop One

Been meaning to play this game for a long time! Finally got sometime so I set up the first scenario The Farmhouse
I have taken a ww2 zombie apocalypse take on the game as I have plenty of bolt action and zombie models so here we go!

"Sir overflights report what appears to be rags waving from a Farm house. Here" the attendant pointed a location on the map, Capt Daniels scratched his chin,
"Rags waving? Could be anything"
"Yes sir but on another flypast people were spotted. That was 3 days ago."
Captain Daniels lent back in his chair,
"Let's hope they are still alive. We have to commit at some point let's do it. Send the go order to the volunteers". The attendant hurried out map in hand.

Captain Daniels stood and watched the half track unload the survivors. Tired, shell shocked and looking thoroughly exhausted they still clung to the 6 men who had rescued them.
Captain Daniels shuddered thinking what they had seen and gone through. His eyes moved to stretcher bearers taking a soldier from the half track and whisking him away.
His adjutant walks over,
"9 survivors Sir. A tremendous success." Daniels nodded,
"Casualties?" he replied,
"just the one Private Hughes but he should be OK in 2 or 3 days. Pvt Sharp dragged him all the way back to the half track. Extraordinary effort."
"Impressive, see he gets a few extra tots of rum. I'll try for a medal but with how things are going we have bigger things to deal with.  Let's see who else we can help".

Really enjoyed that game have to say. Pvt Hughes rolled a medical evac so I decided Pvt Sharp would have dragged him all the way back (that would explain his terrible shooting).

Fling Low Sweet Chariot Halfling Blood Bowl team

I've mentioned my halfling tree am before but as with the Wood Elves now I have treemen I wanted to do a proper team post.

Here the are Fling Low Sweet Chariot my halfling team. The models are full of character and I think they are all cool.
There are new positionals compared to just halflings now. The Hefties I find the most intriguing as I have never used the fend skill. The models are nice, every halfling looks like they have some kind of injury  but carry on regardless.

Up next are the Catchers, these come with sprint so 3 going for its. Will be fun to throw these guys and see them sprint to score!

The other halflings are just like linemen (but smaller and not as strong) the models are full of character, for armour they have tea pots or saucepans and some have pets with them.

Last of all are the 2 treemen. Essential for any halfling team

These models are from Warlord Games for the game Warlords of Erehwon but they do a great job I think! Can't wait to try these guys outll
